History comes to life!

Imagine what it was like to live as a Grand Valley pioneer in the early 1900s. 

Costumed interpreters at the Museum’s Cross Orchards Historic Site offer you opportunity to step back in time. Stroll around the beautiful grounds and check out the historic buildings. The large barn/packing shed and bunkhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Who knows, maybe you will lucky enough even get a cookie baked from the bunkhouse woodstove!

Our facilities can also be rented for weddings, family reunions, corporate meetings, parties and other events. At the Country Store, you can purchase unique gifts including hand crafted items and yummy treats!
