Quick LinksTravel back through a thousand years of western Colorado history at the Museum of the West. From Native American pottery and kachinas to treasures from the wreck of the El Matancero Spanish merchant ship to a re-creation of the pioneer town of Grand Junction you'll find something to please any history buff.
Costumed interpreters at the Museum's Cross Orchards Historic Site offer you opportunity to step back in time. Cross Orchards is also home to many events during the year, including Two Rivers Chautauqua, and the beautiful site can be rented for weddings, reunions and other gatherings.
If you're into dinosaurs, then this is the place for you! Dinosaur Journey Museum features the latest exhibits and information about dinosaurs of western Colorado, eastern Utah and surrounding areas, realistic robotic dinosaurs and a working paleontology laboratory. We offer life-long learners of all ages access to primary sources of information about the region's cultural and natural history.
