Hunting History

Hunting History is a scavenger hunt where you get to explore the scientific and cultural history of Mesa County with your family or friends. It’s also a fundraiser to support the Museums of Western Colorado: Dinosaur Journey Museum, the Museum of the West, and Cross Orchards Historic Site.
Participants will have 4 days in which to visit select sites around the community to hunt for clues, explore together, and maybe win a prize!
Teams may be 2 – 6 people.
A closing award ceremony will take place Sunday, April 23 at 4:00pm. Participants need not be present at the ceremony to win.
