Becky Stone as Maya Angelou

The Museums of Western Colorado is partnering with Mesa County Libraries to present Becky Stone as Maya Angelou. Becky will be giving a Chautauqua performance of Maya Angelou, writer and respected spokesperson for Black people and women. This living history portrayal gives insight into how and why she wrote, and her life philosophy that included a strong belief in the power of words.
