New AFTER HOURS TOURS

Each month the Museum of Western Colorado will offer a special Friday evening tour to the public. These will be either Behind-the-scenes Tours of the Museum of the West and Dinosaur Journey or, during warmer months, Historic Downtown Grand Junction Tours.

Behind-the-scenes Tours

Behind-the-scenes Tours will allow tour participants to enter collections storage area areas at the Museum of the West and of Dinosaur Journey that are seldom open to the public. Hundreds of artifacts that are not currently on display may be viewed as well as laboratories and work areas. In addition, the exhibition halls will be open for a true museum after dark experience.

Historic Downtown Grand Junction Tours

Historic Downtown Grand Junction Tours will be offered during the spring and summer months. These tours will explore some of the fascinating stories, colorful characters and beautiful buildings of downtown.

Time:

All tours start at 5:30 pm and last ninety minutes.

Fee:

Each tour is open to the public and costs $5.00 per person.

No pre-registration is required.
