McDonald Creek Hike I

The Fremont culture thrived in Utah and western Colorado around a thousand years ago. Join us on the popular rock art hike down McDonald Creek, deep in the heart of the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area for a discussion about local geology and anthropology. Total hike is 4 miles. This is such a popular hike we are offering it twice!

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is one of western Colorado's least crowded gems, and the North Rim is rarely explored. Come along for a hike to Exclamation Point (and it really did earn the name!) and have an incredible day of geology, wildlife and spectacular scenery.

Join our van tour of Moab area rock art and archaeology sites. This fabulous area includes one of the larger concentrations of rock art on the Colorado Plateau and breathtaking scenic views. Yes, we're going through the canal, one of the largest and most difficult engineering projects ever undertaken, and we will also explore the beautiful sights of Panama City. We'll then board the bus for Costa Rica - the land of a million birds and butterflies, volcanoes, orchids and wildflowers. Accompanying our group will be familiar Grand Junction personality George Tracy who now calls Costa Rica his second home. With him as our guide we will see places only the natives know about.
