Lions Club Parade

Museum, BLM Review Paleo Plans

Dinosaur Journey Exhibit News

A new addition was made today to the Dinosaur Journey Museum. Happy the sauropod moved from the Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau to the Museum.  He now greets guests with his toothy mouth full of ginkgo leaves as they first enter the Museum.
Happy’s neck is a little over 8 feet long and weighed an awkward ~150 pounds.

Mesa County Historical Society Elects New Officers

Moving day at DJ

Dr. John Foster and Don Kerven move a T-rex pubis to a new area as part of the Dinosaur Journey remodel project.
The pubis was discovered in South Dakota in 1998 and now part of the Museum’s permanent collections.
