DINO DAYS!

Don’t forget that Dino DAZE are this weekend!  The fun starts with a VIP reception at Dinosaur Journey Museum Friday, July 24 at 6:30 pm.
After the reception there will be a street dance with Ralph Dinosaur and the Fabulous Volcanoes! And it’s FREE! The Fruita Rotary Club will be selling libations.

From Field to Collections and Study

From the Collections Room - Dinosaur Journey

This trilobite was found last fall by Museum of Western Colorado volunteer Ray Bley. It is Middle Cambrian in age and was cataloged last week. Trilobites are extinct arthropods and thus distant relatives of modern insects, crabs, scorpions and others.


Spiffing up DJ

A call to help with Spring Cleaning at Dinosaur Journey on Friday, February 27 brought in 18 people. Painting, dusting, washing, vacuuming, and more dusting . . . 18 hard-working and, by the end of the day, very tired people.
