Join us on a visit to the Black American West Museum, located in the heart of Denver’s Five Points area. Famous for telling the story of Black cowboys, the Museum also features early Blacks who performed as miners, soldiers, homesteaders, ranchers, blacksmiths, schoolteachers, lawmen and every other profession needed to build up the West. The Museum itself is in the home of Dr. Justina Ford, Colorado’s first Black woman doctor. Led by Ronna Lee Sharpe and Kay Fiegel

Prehistoric Cultures of the Southwest: A Trip to Four Corners

There were several different groups of prehistoric Native Americans that lived in the Four Corners area. Join us as we travel through this beautiful region getting to know the people who inhabited the Southwest. Among others, we will visit Sego Canyon Petroglyphs, Hovenweep National Monument, Chaco Canyon, Canyon de Chelly and Mesa Verde National Park. Led by Zebulon Miracle
