Wonderful that Grand Junction, Dr. John and ReBecca are getting the recognition so grately deserved. Most of the skin casts I have seen are from Kapirowitz formation from hadrosaurs. Volunteers are the extra eyes, hands and hearts of those devoted paleontologists at Dinosaur Jouney.
I will be visiting in July, any chance of getting out a couple of days to be part of the volunteer excavators? Congratulations.

Eppie Archuleta was also inducted into the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame in 1997 for her contributions to the rich artistic history of Colorado and for preserving and perpetuating the ancient folk art of weaving and the loom in the southwestern Hispanic style.

Thanks Roy and Presli for the great pictures and the opportunity to relive that trip. I, like the young child that couldn't stop talking about it , couldn't stop talking about it. Thank you John and Rebecca for one of the greatest experiences! It was a trip that I wanted to do for years.I have been recommending it to everyone and anyone who will listen. Thank You. Lucy

Just found the site and brought back a lot of good memories looking at the pictures and reading the blog. It was a great trip! Tom's tibia looks impressive - great to see it all cleaned up. Congratulations on the grant as well as the new dinosaur tracks found and the good summer at the quarry. Jay has a vocabulary parade at his school at the end of the month and his word is "paleontologist". He has to put it in a sentence and we came up with one about the tracks and the Morrison Formation so the legand will be passed on. Seems like there should be a new addition to your family around now - congratulations on that as well. Hope all is well.
